What is our Purpose?
LOGIQULTURE is about freedom and infinite possibilities through faith and relationship in God; freedom from your pain, your vulnerability, your trauma and your mistakes to be the best version of you.
First, who is Richard Anthony?
I am on a journey driven to become the best version of myself everyday, with dependency on God.
I am a man of faith, I am a Christian who has struggled and learned so much from my past, present, mistakes and decisions. My life experiences are attributed to spiritual encounters with a higher being I call God and his name is Jesus Christ.
I am a Bronx native, graduate of IONA University and Mercy College with degrees in Psychology and School Counseling; passionate about my work with youth through the NYC Department of Education. I am also gifted in poetry/spoken word, rap, fashion and graphic designing. I am currently in process of writing his book- “Trauma & Triumph”. I am Youth Director for iRevive Youth Ministries at the Bronx Church, Church of God of Prophecy. Also Youth Director for Bronx, Manhattan and Bermuda District. I am a leader, focused on his family and ministry both inside and outside the church. I am heavily supported by his wife, Shanique Christian.
Why?
The reason I started writing, blogging was to affirm the God's truth in my life.
To share insight about my life, all the lessons I’ve learned from psychological, philosophical and spiritual perspectives; to INSPIRE. My life long relationship with God, experiences with people in my life and my 15 year career as an educator has challenged me to BE MORE and DO MORE, to serve a higher purpose by launching LOQIQULTURE in 2017.
"Richard was raised by his grandparents and aunts, meeting his biological mother at age 7. He has never met his biological father yet, he continued to strive to create a life of emotional stability and be an inspiration for some many young people. Richard believes in every “trauma becomes a testimony”, highlighting past or current struggles of life and building on the present to create realistic goals that will create a hopeful future. He is very driven on faith, accountability, defining “balances and boundaries” while giving perspective to those in need through learning about personal progress. Richard can speak personally to these including childhood experiences, abandonment, fear, love, validation along with faith and purpose driven. He relies on continued support and growth through his relationship with Jesus Christ, his wife, mentors, mother & father figures and therapist of many years."
